Service Manager x 2 – £31,000 – £33,000 per annum (Salaries vary depending on experiences)
Hours – 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9:00-17:00, exclusive of bank holidays, shifts may occasionally include mornings, evenings, and weekends
Department – Adult Service Delivery
Locations – Headington, Oxfordshire
– Woodstock Road, Oxfordshire
What You’ll Be Doing:
As Service Manager, you will be the first point of call that all the team will turn to for advice and support. You will be required to effectively manage the team, whilst encouraging them to perform at their highest level. You are responsible for ensuring that the team provide individual and bespoke packages of personalised support that is tailored to the needs of each resident. As the main driver of standards within the service you are required to ensure that any KPI’s are met, and that audits completed on the service are successful whilst demonstrating that your services are operating efficiently and legally.
Overall job responsibility:
• Delegation of tasks to staff
• Support the team daily and encourage them to develop their skills, relationships and careers by providing them with advice, instruction and encouragement in line with the organisational values and objectives.
• Full line management of the team, including timesheets, rota, sickness and holidays, recruitment, shortlisting and interviewing of new staff, manage induction processes, team meetings, supervisions, performance management, disciplinary & grievance processes, investigations and coaching individual team members.
• Monitor the team’s training record to ensure that it meets the guidelines set by the Learning & Development department.
• Completion of the monthly Contract Monitoring for the service.
• Oversee the support to staff to manage their caseloads and support their clients in a recovery focused way.
• Escalate serious incidents to the Operations Manager as and when required.
• Create and maintain a schedule and process for reporting and recording of maintenance work and facilitating and auditing H&S checks in the buildings and client rooms. Ensure spot checks, resident plans, room checks, meds management monitoring and all other checks are completed.
• Support the development of person-centered planning, ensuring each individuals care plan has meaningful and achievable goals with positive outcomes that meet the aspirations as well as the needs.
• Participate in the development of a diverse range of services, which are appropriate, affordable, attractive, and safe for our residents.
• Manage the services budget while ensuring that staffing costs, welfare costs and additional expenditure is kept within budget. Ensure processes are in place for the team to complete day to day management of client monies, safe storage, and accurate recording of service cash.

• Experience working within a mental health setting and providing care for those clients
