Personal Assistant
You’ll work directly with one or more individuals to support them in every aspect of their daily living and enable them to live as independently as possible
You’ll be employed directly by an individual, known as an individual or direct employer, who are managing and paying for their own care through a direct payment or individual budget. You’ll often work from their own home.
You can be employed directly by one employer or work for a number of different people. You will be supporting people who need care and support to enjoy the best possible quality of life.
A Personal Assistant role may involve:
Supporting with cooking and meal preparation
Helping with shopping
Supporting an individual at social and leisure activities
Accompanying an individual at school or college
Supporting someone at work
