Catering for the organisation

Whether you are the Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, Kitchen Assistant, Chef, Kitchen Porter, or Cook, the catering team work together to provide meals and menus for residents.

With three or more meals a day there is always something to do, from washing up, developing menus, taking orders, or preparing meals, each area of the kitchen team are responsible to ensure food service runs smoothly, and all dietary requirements are catered for.

 

A Hospitality role may include:

Meal preparation and cooking

Menu development

Maintaining food hygiene

Managing a team

Clearing away and washing up

Skills Needed

  • Good team working skills
  • Food Hygiene desirable but training can be provided
  • Clean and organised
